I hoped with this story not to anchor it down into one place, or one scene, so it's good that you think of a rainforest. I suppose ultimately it's lazy, but I was trying not to over-decribe things, which I have a tendency to do.

I've got a bit stalled with this story generally. I started off not wanting to think about the end, to just try to concentrate on one part at a time, but the pressure of the whole has got to me a bit. I'm hoping to add some more this week whilst I have some time to think about it...Pinkerbellnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-375507788081812475.post-46837327327644383302009-11-21T04:56:10.045-08:002009-11-21T04:56:10.045-08:00This makes me miss the rainforest....This makes me miss the rainforest....Nan Sheppardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02526627128978409559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-375507788081812475.post-21281935106640536952009-10-24T10:54:20.615-07:002009-10-24T10:54:20.615-07:00Hey File,

This is an experiment and an attempt for me to learn to let go and allow the reader to work out the meaning. You've asked an interesting question there and one which I'll need to address at some point - so please feel free to keep on asking!

I suppose really it's a bit of a "better the devil you know" kind of scenario, or perhaps not.

I hope I'll be able to keep up with the allegorical vein without getting confused - only time will tell!Pinkerbellnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-375507788081812475.post-21368615941948537192009-10-23T09:00:48.915-07:002009-10-23T09:00:48.915-07:00Yes "completely drawn in", all the magne...Yes "completely drawn in", all the magnetism of allegory here Pinks, driving us to need to find meaning.

Why does she fear the world when a "panther in moonlight" is "her monster"?

Wonderful!
